Beck plays the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta on the Ride Lonesome Tour, with Ioanna Gika and Wayne Faler.
Beck is playing the Coca-Cola Roxy on Friday, October 30, as part of his Ride Lonesome tour. He's not coming alone, either: Ioanna Gika and Wayne Faler are opening for him, so you'll get two full sets before he takes the stage.
If you've been following the tour, you might remember it had a bit of a rocky start. The first three dates—originally set for Vancouver, Woodinville, and Portland—were pushed back because of production issues, and they eventually landed in Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland. After that, the tour got back on track and is rolling through November, with stops in Asheville, Nashville, and Seattle. Atlanta is one of the dates on that run.
Beck's been touring this one for a while now, and the Ride Lonesome title points to the record he's playing. If you've kept up with his work, you know he doesn't stay in one place for long, and this tour is no different. The set leans on the new material, though he usually keeps a few older songs in the mix, so you'll hear the new stuff alongside things from further back in his catalog. Gika and Faler should give you plenty to listen to before he comes on, too.

It's a Friday night show, so you can head over after work. The set starts at 7:30 PM at the Coca-Cola Roxy, 800 Battery Ave, SE Atlanta, GA 30339. If you're coming from across town, keep in mind it's over by The Battery, so give yourself a little extra time to get there.
