Atlanta Hawks host the Philadelphia 76ers on MLK Day for the first City Edition game of the year.
The Atlanta Hawks take on the Philadelphia 76ers at State Farm Arena on Monday, January 18, 2027. It's a holiday matchup, with the game falling on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and the team is billing it as the first City Edition game of the year. That means the Hawks will be wearing their City Edition uniforms, the special designs they roll out for the season, and this is the first time they'll sport them on the court this year.
Because it's MLK Day, the game is held to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., so there's a bit more to this one than just the standings. If you're planning to bring a group, there are group tickets available for parties of seven or more. And if you're a regular, you can use Hawks Rewards in the Atlanta Hawks + State Farm Arena App to earn or buy upgrades like Early Entry, Pregame Courtside Access, and a Postgame Freethrow.

Tip-off is at 2:30 PM, which is a bit earlier than your usual night game, so it's more of a matinee. Doors open at 1:30 PM, and if you're a season ticket member, you can get in at 1:15 PM. Between the City Edition jerseys and the holiday, it's a good day to be at the arena.
