An evening of brass band music with top musicians from across Atlanta at the Goizueta Stage, presented by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Georgia Brass Band plays at the Goizueta Stage for Youth & Families on Tuesday, November 17, at 7:30 PM. It's part of the ASO Education series, and they'll be back for a second date on Tuesday, February 2, 2027, also at 7:30 PM.
The band plays in the British brass band tradition, which is a specific thing: a full ensemble of brass instruments—cornets, horns, trombones, tubas—playing together. They bring together musicians from across Atlanta, and they've already picked up some hardware, having been named Most Entertaining Band at the Southeastern Brass Band Festival. Right now, they're preparing to compete at the North American Brass Band Championships in April, so these concerts fall right in the middle of their run-up to that.
The Goizueta Stage is a 300-seat theater at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, designed for audiences of all ages. Under Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann, the ASO pairs its live performances with media initiatives and learning programs, and the venue sits alongside the PNC PlaySpace, an interactive environment for children under five to explore music, movement, and imagination. The PlaySpace is open Tuesday to Sunday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with free admission, so if you're bringing kids, you can easily make a day of it before the show starts.

Between the two dates, you've got a choice of a late-autumn Tuesday or a mid-winter one. Both start at 7:30 PM at the Goizueta Stage for Youth & Families.
