A concert by the pioneering hip-hop group Arrested Development at the Rialto Center for the Arts, part of the Rialto Series at Georgia State University.
Arrested Development play the Rialto Center on Thursday, March 11, 2027, from 8 PM to 10 PM. The show is part of the Rialto Series at Georgia State University's College of the Arts, so it's one of the dates GSU is bringing into the city this season.
If you're not familiar, Arrested Development is a hip-hop group that's been around since the early 1990s. They built their name on a sound that blends African rhythms with socially conscious lyrics and storytelling, and that debut album, 3 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days in the Life of..., picked up several Grammy Awards and a lot of critical attention. Since then, they've toured the world and used their platform to speak on social causes, and they're still making music centered on reflection and cultural awareness.
