Night of up-and-coming Atlanta talent headlined by Run Katie Run at The Supermarket on North Highland Avenue.
The Supermarket hosts the Alter Egos Showcase on Monday, October 19, a night built around Atlanta talent. The bill is topped by Run Katie Run, a roots-rock band founded in 2019 and fronted by Katie Coleman. They're playing from their debut album, Cowboy Boots with Fishnet Tights, which pulls together true-life stories and Americana grit. The rest of the lineup runs through a good stretch of the local scene: Paola, Katie Coleman, Patrick Smith, Dalby, Whitney Bjerken, and Sammy Brasher. It's a full evening of Atlanta artists on one stage, with Run Katie Run taking the headlining slot.
If you're coming from outside the neighborhood, it helps to know how to get in. The venue has two entrances: the main one is on N. Highland Avenue, tucked between Big Softie and Colette Bakeshop, and a second one through a residential courtyard off the Otto's building at the corner of N. Highland and Blue Ridge. Parking nearby is handled through ParkMobile, so you can sort it from your phone rather than hunting for a meter. The show starts at 8 PM.
