Ricky Gervais is heading to Aberdeen this autumn with his stand-up show Legend, which lands at P&J Live on Thursday 5 November 2026. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. It's a 16+ event, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you're thinking about bringing younger family members.

The Aberdeen date is part of a tour that starts in the UK in September 2026 and carries on through 2027, with arena dates planned across the UK, Europe and North America. The shows are being recorded for a new Netflix stand-up special, which would be his fifth after Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon and Mortality. Gervais is best known for co-creating The Office with Stephen Merchant, and for Extras and After Life, but he has spent much of his career on the stage too. He has described Legend as his most personal show to date. As with his previous tours, a portion of ticket sales goes to animal charities.
Tickets are priced at £42.50 plus booking fees. They are sold through AXS and Ticketmaster, as P&J Live doesn't sell tickets directly or over the phone. Premium tickets are available, and there is also a Luxe Scot Lounge Upgrade, which includes early access, fast-track entry, a complimentary drink on arrival and use of the lounge before, during and after the show. If you want to get in before the general sale, the venue offers a presale to people who sign up to its newsletter, and you need to be signed up at least an hour before the sale begins. The Ticketmaster listing for Aberdeen shows venue premium tickets, while Live Nation marks the date as having limited availability, so it may be worth checking both sites early.
P&J Live sits on East Burn Road in Stoneywood, on the TECA site on the edge of the city. It's a large events complex with a main arena that can host around 10,000 people seated, or up to 15,000 seated and standing, which gives a sense of how many people are likely to be in the room for this one. Gervais's shows tend to be built around his own voice and timing rather than big staging, so the venue's size will mostly affect the atmosphere rather than what you see from your seat.
